Skin Perfection System^TM

It's easy for you to use this skin care system in a way that fits in with your lifestyle. We have differing amounts of time to devote to skin care on different days of any one week. And it's a fact that on some days, our skin may just need more help than on others.

Our system is as flexible as you are. Every product works wonderfully in combination with any other. Each has its unique benefits to contribute. With this in mind, the ideal way to start off is by learning what each product does and what magic can happen when you give yourself "the works."

Start with doing the full spa-at-home treatment as outlined below in the 6 "steps." Then play with it all. See how you do with The Perfect Rose by itself, another day try it before applying La Creme de la Creme, see how often you wish to do a masque, try the scrub in the shower on your chest and shoulders (I do), and so on. The only order that matters a lot is to cleanse your skin first before you apply moisturizer or serum. Enjoy!

Step 1, DreamSoap^TM: a non-drying cleanser that leaves the skin meticulously clean, unclogged and nourished! It's not just a soap, but the start of your powerful skin treatment. Whole plant foods, anti-oxidants to fight free-radical* damage, essential oils to treat your skin with the powers of aromatherapy - your face never had it so good! Overturn to mix ingredients. You'll need to use just a few drops of this cleanser - our products contain no fillers. * Free radicals are nasty things that attack cells. Nutrients like vitamin C, vitamin E and A neutralize free radicals.

Step 2, Velvet^TM: for the loveliest exfoliation imaginable with flowers, nuts, grains and other skin-loving plants. Helps gently slough off dead cells and debris that collect on the skin's surface each day and to encourage new cellular growth. Our unique scrub refines, tones and greatly nourishes your hungry skin. Velvet leaves the skin feeling, well, literally like velvet! So smooth, so soft! Wash first with DreamSoap, particularly if you had make-up on. Start with your face wet or dry, whichever you prefer. Use about a dime-sized amount. Enjoy the delicious scent as you scrub gently. Rinse well with warm water to open pores for the masque or moisturizing.

Step 3, Rose Bouquet^TM: a non-drying facial masque, wonderful for any skin-type, that bathes your skin in indulgent amounts of nutrients, anti-oxidants, nourishing oils and essential oils, all that great, natural stuff skin craves. Give yourself a youthful glow naturally! Skin feels so alive. Gentle enough for most people to use daily. Stir well before spooning out (the plant waters, etc., rise to the top). Avoid eye area. Apply to clean skin as thickly as you like (we like it thick-ish), leave on for about 15 minutes. Spray with toner as masque dries or to keep on longer. You may also "spot" this on onto small areas or blemishes. Rinse off thoroughly (masque is penetrative and so rinse well).

Step 4, Skin Perfection Mist^TM: a gentle, non-drying floral blast - astounding for any skin type. Containing the powerful yet gentle waters of many skin-nurturing plants with aloe vera and a hint of essential oils, our toner works complexion magic. You will love the scent and feel of it, love it body and soul. Use during masque to keep it moist, after the masque, before or after La Creme, etc. Carry along for skin pick-me-ups during the day.

Step 5, La Creme de la Creme^TM: non-greasy moisturizer for vast, deep nourishment, skin renewal and firming. Not pore-clogging, so your skin can breathe. Revitalizing essential oils, vital trace minerals, natural anti-oxidants to strengthen the skin's elasticity and promote a fresh look. Balances skin, leaving it youthful-looking, healthy and soft. If you use Ma JeunesseTM Youth in a JarTM, we suggest you apply La Creme de la Creme or The Perfect Rose (or both) after it. As always with our products, shake or stir first. (I keep my La Creme de la Creme in the refrigerator and do suggest that you do this to keep yours at its prime.)

Step 6, The Perfect Rose^TM: Want radiant skin? This serum gently brings up the circulation, for without good circulation, its tremendous nutrients wouldn't arrive. Use for tone, texture and firmness enhancement. A few drops makes for a fabulous facial massage. The oils in The Perfect Rose completely absorb, so use at night or in the morning and separately or in combination with La Creme de la Creme...see what is just right for you. Use only a few drops and shake very well to mix all its precious ingredients together before dropping out.

Clarity Skin Balancing System^TM

Acne-prone skin has special needs. In creating Clarity products, I’ve aimed to address these needs naturally, safely and effectively.

Some “solutions” on the market strip the oil from the skin, while others attack bacteria with harsh chemical disinfectants or peroxide treatments. These aggressive approaches may irritate and damage the skin as much or more than the acne itself and often produce no lasting, positive effects.

Our approach is gentle — rather than despite or against, we work with your skin’s own ability to repair itself. Clarity supports your skin’s own natural balancing mechanisms. Each Clarity products lavishes your face with whole-plant nutrients to return it to a happy state of balance and vitality. You might say that we unstarve your skin. Some highlights of Clarity products are organic plant waters — gentle but awesomely healing — essential oils very appropriately selected, trace minerals, herbs to help detoxify, soothe and heal, antioxidants to deal with free-radicals* and strengthen cells and good old-fashioned food, whole foods, the real stuff your skin has been craving. * Free radicals are the nasty things that attack cells. Nutrients like vitamin C, vitamin E, A, and other special nutrients fight free radicals.

Step 1, Clarity DreamSoap^TM: good news for those with blemishes. Perfect for acneic and very oily skin. Oils and essential oils such as lavender, juniper, cedarwood, naiouli, tea tree and others deal with infection and imbalanced sebum (oil) production. DreamSoap is a feast of nutrients yet rinses off completely and leaves the skin meticulously clean, unclogged and nourished. Instructions: Overturn to mix ingredients. Avoid chlorinated water if possible. Wetten face and work up lather in your hands with just a few drops. Massage gently into skin and rinse well with tepid (not hot, not cold) water.

Lavender in Bloom^TM DreamSoap^TM: Once you’re complexion is clearer, or for days when it is not much broken out, you may, if you wish, cleanse with Lavender in Bloom DreamSoap. It should help you maintain the balance and is normally powerful enough to deal with the occasional breakout and any oiliness that might occur. Same instructions.

Step 2, Skin Perfection Mist^TM: — a gentle, non-drying floral blast — simply astounding for acne but also for dry, dull, lifeless, aging skin — fabulous, really, for any skin type. Containing the powerful yet gentle waters of many skin-nurturing plants with aloe vera and a hint of essential oils, our toner works complexion magic. Instructions: Spray before applying the masque, during masque if you wish to keep it moist, after the masque, before or after La Crème, etc. Carry along for skin pick-me-ups during the day. This product has delivered lightening-fast results.

Step 3, Rose Bouquet^TM Masque: a non-drying masque that is gentle enough to use every day and fabulous for all skin types but the most sensitive. For acneic skin, frequent use (even every day) may speed results. Helpful for inflammation, pimples, enlarged pores, etc. Loaded with anti-oxidants and nourishment for cellular regeneration and repair. Instructions: Stir well before spooning out (the plant waters rise to the top). Pat onto clean skin (avoid eye area); no need to rub in. Leave on for about 15 minutes. Spray face with Skin Perfection Mist to moisten drying masque or just to keep it on longer. Masque is penetrative so rinse off very thoroughly. You may “spot” masque onto small areas or blemishes instead of using all over your face.

Step 4, Clarity Spot Serum^TM: Apply to blemishes that are not open wounds (broken skin). Shake bottle well first. Use a drop or less. Apply only to blemishes once or a few times a day as needed.

Step 5, Clarity Lotion^TM: non-greasy, light moisturizer with our Clarity essential oil blend to help your skin all day (or evening), nourishing it back to healthy balance. Not pore-clogging, so skin can breathe. Instructions: Stir cream first with the little spoon provided (it separates); use sparingly. Massage in gently and blot skin with clean towel if too much was put on

Step 6, Light Cream for Oily or Combination Skin^TM (an optional step): Use Light Cream if you need more moisture along with Clarity Lotion or apply it by itself. This lotion is also an alternative if your complexion has cleared up. This is the base for Clarity Lotion (which has added Clarity Essential Oil Blend). Contains ingredients that are known to balance oily skin.

Sensitive Skincare

Skin may be "sensitive" for any number of reasons, so it's always a challenge for those of us with sensitive skin to find the products that are right for us. I crafted the three products in my sensitive skin line using ingredients that are calming and gentle to most skin types. The thing to do is try them yourself and see how they work for you.

Step 1: Earth, Oats & Honey^TM Cleanser & Masque: I look forward to each cleansing with Earth, Oats & Honey as a sensual beauty ritual. And afterwards I can barely believe my skin. My face (and anywhere else) gets meticulously clean without feeling in the least stripped or dry. It feels soft more than on just the surface, but deeply soft - that's the best way I can put it - and it looks glowy, refined and healthy.

Go with your mood and needs - use Earth, Oats & Honey as a very gentle, softening and moisturizing cleanser; massage it as a super-comfy, skin-clarifying scrub; caress your skin with a masque...anyway you use it, I think you'll love the results.

I grind whole, organically grown oats (called oat groats) with organic nuts, seeds and various goodies for a very comfortably applied, soft scrub. This cleanser delivers the goodness and energies of live, whole foods, beautifying herbs, nutrients, the best clay in the world (more about it below), and other gentle but effective ingredients. The resulting concoction smells and feels heavenly! This definitely places facial cleansing high above the humdrum.

Step 2, Skin Perfection Mist^TM Honey Chamomile: This new variety of Skin Perfection Mist helps balance, soften, clarify and refresh any skin type, although I formulated it especially for sensitive skin. After being sprayed with this mist, the skin tends to feel refined, soft and moist. I made it to help calm and balance sensitive skin but it's a delight for anyone. The mist smells so good, too... the name says it: honey, floral with gentle, calming chamomile predominant.

Step 3, Sensitive Skin Cream: Our sensitive skin cream was formulated to help gently balance sensitive skin with plant ingredients known to soothe and treat it. Luxurious and nourishing oils, plant waters (these contain all the plant nutrients in extra-gentle form), natural anti-oxidants, trace minerals and vitamins together give your skin a gentle and royal treatment. The essential oils this cream contains are only those helpful to sensitive skin and just enough, no more. There is almost no discernable fragrance other than the subtle plant scents.

A rich moisturizer, Sensitive Skin Cream takes a moment to absorb into the skin. When it does, you can find that your face feels exceptionally soft and nourished and that your skin can breathe. Although especially for sensitive skin, this cream is suitable for any skin type other than very oily.
